Based on the eponymic novel by Anuja Chauhan, the romantic comedy revolves round the lifetime of Zoya Singh Solanki. AN advertising agent by profession, Zoya stumbles onto the limelight once she is hailed because the sensible luck charm for Indian cricket team.

But not everybody agrees with the facility of `The Zoya Factor`, particularly the captain of Team Bharat, Nikhil Khoda. Inevitably, a love-hate relationship ensues between the 2.

Zoya Factor Story: Born on the same day that India won the 1983 Cricket World Cup, Zoya is considered by his family to be a lucky charm when it comes to winning games, albeit for gully cricket. But when the Indian cricket authorities want to sign him as the lucky mascot of the existing team, Zoya finds himself in a good position.

Zoya Factor Review: Zoya (Sonam Kapoor), a small copywriter at an ad agency is posted on a photo poster with an Indian cricket team. When love strikes Zoya he meets Nikhil Khoda (Dulquer Salmaan), the captain of the Indian cricket team, and they immediately strike. But soon, the whole team eats into his hands because he puts his ‘lucky’ story over for breakfast with them. And unfortunately, the team that didn’t do well even won the next few games. And they have their own lucky charm to be thankful for.

While Nihkil relies on self-belief and hard work, his team is increasingly attracting Zoya as their luck - something Nikhil strongly prevents them from believing in. Things got to the point where Zoya and Nikhil started dating, but the club's management wanted him on the board as a lucky team mascot.
In his second production of the Hindi movie, Dulquer Salmaan releases magic oodles like Nikhil. If in his first Bollywood game ‘Kararaan’ we saw him as Avinash, who is not down to earth (and very popular), in ‘The Zoya Factor’ Dulquer comes out with his avky, romantic avatar like Nikhil. From the play to the highest level, Dulquer steals the show as he has great ingenuity in his presentation.
Sonam Kapoor as a writer for small copy lovers who loves balance fits into his role as a glove. Amid the defeat of the lovers and trying to save her passionate career, Sonam's funny time as Zoya is playing football with a lot of film. And together, Sonam and Dulquer's chemistry works with its magic and grows on you.

Director Abhishek Sharma gives us a lovely joke that hits all the relevant notes from the word go. Anuja Chauhan’s novel adaptation of the same name, the vibe here is cool and feels good. Even some of the impossible moments are handled with humor. Anil Kapoor with cameo steals a moment from that passing event. Supporting actors with Sanjay Kapoor as Zoya's father, Angad Bedi as Robin, another key player in the team, hit well. Sikander Kher as Zoya's brother brings out the best comedy moments in the film. Special mention of active cricket analysis that is not at all uncommon. Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s beautiful song and background school add their songs to the mood.

Zoya Factor is an exciting and courageous film that incorporates myths compared to strategy and belief as opposed to luck. And thankfully he uses the Indian cricket craze to bring out a film that is fun, exciting.
